Tori was back at work. Her injuries were all healed, but she still had these horrible, sinking feelings that there was going to be another explosion. She'd been so close the last time, and she didn't want it to happen again. Not to mention that she was freaked out about Draco being the target. She still fancied him, even though he was never around anymore.

In her makeshift office, Tori was going through some lists of potions ingredients she was going to need to order. They were still doing construction--it seemed as if it was going rather slowly--so Astoria's new "office" was simply tarps hung around a cleaned-up area near the blast site. At least she had a desk and a chair, and the silencing charms kept out the construction noise. It also made it hard for her to hear when people came to visit her.

She saw the tarp move, though, and looked up as someone came through her "door".

	"Much better." Tori said. "Glad to be back at work. It's so boring being stuck in bed all day, with people telling me to 'take it easy' and 'get some rest.' I was definitely ready to be back." "Aww, I'm sorry I didn't get to come and visit," she sighed. "Things have been hectic and I picked up two extra shifts this week, plus taking care of my mum has been extra stressful," she said. Tori was one of the only people outside of her family that knew of her mother's stay on the Janus Thickney Ward. "And... I'm sort of a bad friend and had a date instead of visiting her best friend."

Emma smiled. "Well, I'm glad you're healing. Did Draco happen to visit you?" she asked, but then Tori changed the subject.

"Oh, umm... Tim Blenkinsop," she said, "he works up in spell damage. He's a few years older then us... was in Ravenclaw," she said. "Very cute, it all happened by accident actually. I dropped a cupcake on him a few weeks ago, like the klutz that I am and... it's been growing since then," she all but beamed.

Emma rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I tripped and dropped it right on him. He just laughed and invited me to sit down with him and he bought me another cupcake," she laughed lightly. "So, then we started talking about planning a Halloween party and we started spending time together. I was going to see him the day of the explosion and we got trapped together in an office... he was hurt and I fixed him up," she smiled softly.

	"He made dessert?" Tori was even more impressed. She was starting to get jealous, actually. "And chocolates? Wow. I don't think I've ever had that much attention from a bloke before." "Honestly, after this next date, I might ask him how he feels. Merlin Tori... I can't get him out of my head," she grinned, raking her fingers through her blonde locks. "It's childish really - I should be mature about it but... I can't! I really like him!" Emma laughed.

"Now... now you have to tell me how things are with Draco," she insisted. "I gave my dirt, you have to give yours," she begged.

	Tori sighed softly. There was no dirt. She shrugged softly. "He made me dinner. But it feels like it's been weeks since I've seen him." She shook her head a little. "I don't think anything's going on there. I don't think he's honestly interested in me. I should find someone new, I think." She sounded completely defeated and depressed about the whole thing.
