Harry came in late after working with Hermione. He knew he needed sleep. He was no good without it. Still, he was too worked up. He came into the dark flat, hanging his cloak up and throwing his keys in the bowl by the door.

"Ginny?" He called quietly, to see if she was still awake.

"Hermione found a file, it's a real stretch, but we think he took her back about six months. A little less. End of March." He rubbed the back of his head, making his hair stand up even more than usual.

"Her husband's a mess. He was right around the corner when it happened. We're pretty sure he wanted to kidnap a pregnant woman as some continuation of his experiments with time."

"We've got hit-wizards out looking. Our Muggle liasons are pulling traffic tapes. Kingsley's getting the Muggle Prime Minister to cooperate-- seeing as Time Travel could mess everyone up if he really goes rogue." Harry shook his head. "In the morning we'll have more resources. The muggles will be looking."

Harry buried his nose in Ginny's neck. He was exhausted and her smell comforted him.

"All we can do is hope she's still okay now, they have to have caught back up with the present. And so far as we know she hadn't seen herself in the last six months."

Harry at least knew, from his own experience, that time seemed not to be a line, but a web, and when you went back in time, what you accomplished was already accounted for before you went back. After all, he had saved his own life.

	"You already know I'd face a Basilisk to save you." Harry was pretty sure he wouldn't be capable of sleeping until he'd rescued Ginny, even if he was near neath from sleep deprivation. (Reply to this) (Parent)
