WHO: Harry and Hermione
WHAT: Crisis
WHEN: Monday late night
WHERE: His office

Harry paced his office. The silvery lynx landed on his desk and Kingsley's voice came out, silky and deep. "I'm going to meet with the muggle Prime Minister now. I'll let you know when he's informed of our situation."

The lynx vanished. Harry tugged at his hair. He hadn't faced a real crisis since Voldemort, mostly a few nutters with wands. This was serious.

"Or apparition." Hermione said, frowning. She hadn't read much about the affects of time travel on a pregnant woman or her fetus, but she was sure they'd done studies on it. Just as they'd done studies on apparition while pregnant--but those studies proved it wasn't dangerous. "It's in 2003. Here." She turned to show him the file int he folder, pointing to the account written in rather small, neat handwriting.

	"That's about six months ago," Harry said, finally a bit of color in his cheeks. "Well if this was them, we might still have some other documentation." He scrambled to find a quill and write a memo before giving it to his owl and sending her off. "Who knows how badly he's messed up time-- or maybe it's meant-- you know whatever time they went to, if they're alive they've caught up to the present, or they will, well they have in our timeline. Hermione nodded, pausing for a moment to think about it. Either they went back and stayed there, and Lavender was here somewhere in present time, only a few months older, or they went there and went somewhere else.

"So, Lavender will be four or five months along in our present time." She thought out loud. "That's harder to hide than eight weeks. If he's letting her out at all." Or if they were still in the area... or even the country.

	"I dunno... I mean does time pass for those back in time? People've only ever really done small jumps. The ministry controls it so well. Does it pass or do they kind of stay as they were until they catch up to the present?" Maybe that was why he'd taken a pregnant woman, Harry realized, to find out just that. 	"I imagine that even using a time turner will not prevent human growth." Hermione said. "There are very, very few charms, spells or potions that slow the aging process--or halt it altogether." 	"And what there was, Kingsley canceled," Harry pointed out the catalyst for all of this madness. "And we're already warping time here, so we can't rule out warping aging. You went back in time for, what, six hours a day, five days a week, nine months? That's like, forty, fifty days total. We wouldn't be able to tell if you're fifty days older than you should be." 	Hermione nodded. "All we know is that Audrey's file was left behind. Perhaps it was left behind for a reason. Perhaps it was a diversion, or a mistake on our part. 	Hermione didn't know what else to call him. She could imagine the headlines calling him that. A little smile crossed her features at Harry's laugh.
