Who? Lavender and Kevin

Where? St. Mungo's maternity ward
What? Their first appointment with a healer

Lavender was a bundle of nerves. Why couldn't get an earlier appointment? She'd had to go into work on Monday morning for a shipment and if she could have had her appointment with her healer earlier, she wouldn't have been nervously skipping from one foot to the next, waiting for the delivery. Once it had arrived she'd ordered people around to make sure nothing broke, hurried the delivery guy off so she could sort through the inventory so she could rush to the maternity ward to meet Kevin.

Once upstairs, her nerves started to get to her again and she just wanted to be reassured that her baby was healthy and everything was normal. Kevin had assured her that it would be fine, but he wasn't a healer, so how could he be sure? Lavender turned the corner and saw him coming towards her and she felt a tiny bit of relief at his presence.

	And when he wasn't hiding, he was trying to hide Lavender. "Mmm, we're both so photogenic," she grinned, watching her brunette hair fly as he spun her around, away from the cameras. 	Kevin thought about that. One one hand, it was horrible to sell baby pictures. On the other, if you just flat out denied baby pics to the paps, they'd be all the worse trying to get them. 	Before Lavender could reply, the nurse called them in. Her heart skipped a beat and she grabbed Kevin's hand as they stood up. She didn't know why she was nervous... just venturing into unknown territory, she supposed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She nodded, squeezing his hand as they were led down the hall to a small room. The nurse checked her vitals, waving a wand over her body as Lavender sat on an exam table. Once the nurse left, Lavender turned to Kevin. "Have you thought about names at all?" she asked him. "Did you know that there are entire books dedicated to picking baby names?" 	She swung her legs, looking over at him. "Yeah, that sounds logical," she agreed. Lavender was thinking along the same lines he was - space was already becoming an issue for them. 	Lavender missed the terrified expression on her husband's face. "I mean... we could buy a house... you wouldn't have to," she said. "My mother left me part of her estate... 	She smiled over at him, glad that he liked her idea. "It could be a place to grow into... together," she smiled, reaching for his hand again. "But, at least we'll have funny stories to tell the baby when he or she is grown up... how mum and dad didn't know how to change a diaper, or how we couldn't assemble the crib without magic," she laughed. 	She tugged his hand, pulling him close to give him a gentle kiss. The healer arrived then and, of course, after her examination, reassured Lavender and Kevin that everything was normal. 	She sighed softly, running her fingers back through his hair before he pulled back. "Good luck with your meeting, and I'll see you tonight," she smiled, waving to him as he walked away. Audrey Weasley had fallen through. Now the ministry was on his case. He needed to pick a subject and go, now. He was running out of time.

He lingered outside the ward, waiting for the next woman to pop out. When Kevin and Lavender left the office, he ducked around a corner and pretended to get a drink of water, keeping his back to the connecting corridor.

He was doing a decent job of hiding his face, but then someone, a guard in gray robes, spotted him. "Hey, stop!"

His face was all over the hospital. He was really lucky to have gotten this far. Kevin had just rounded the corner. Lavender was alone. He ran, grabbing her and pulling her close to him, his wand at her throat as he fumbled in his cloak for what he needed. "Don't move a muscle."

	Lavender was just about to head into the stairwell when someone grabbed her. She felt the panic rise in her throat. She was terrified and was afraid to even yell because it wasn't just her at stake... she had to worry about her baby, too. "Don't do this," she whispered pleadingly. "Too late." He pulled the chain from the time turner around their necks and gave it a good, long, twirl. The corridor spun around them as they vanished. Blurs of people rushed by. He focused on the time turner as it spun, propelling it for extra turns as it went. And then he stopped it fast and they landed on the floor, in the hospital, after hours. Months previously.

He stuck the wand in her back quickly. "Stay quiet." He needed to get his equilibrium back before he apparated.

	Lavender felt dizzy and sick and when they came to a stop, she proceeded to get sick right in the hallway, just missing his shoes. She couldn't help it, hormones and such. "What... what was that?" she moaned, clutching at her stomach. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Time Tu--" she started, but was cut off by apparating. And just like that, Lavender was taken back through time, kidnapped in the worst way. No one could find her because she'd literally vanished. She couldn't call for help because she couldn't cross paths with herself in the past... the nightmare was only begining. (Reply to this) (Parent)
