Lisa had spent the week after every shift cleaning out the spare room for Marcus. She'd put new paper in the drawers of the bureau, put up a few more hangers in the closet, and made sure that there were clean sheets on the bed. She'd also strategically placed a hamper in his bedroom, hoping to give him the hint that it wasn't okay to wear dirty clothes, ever.

She had just been doing the finishing touches when she'd decided that she needed to lay down for a minute before Marcus got there. Collapsing on his new bed with the promise to herself that she'd only close her eyes for a few seconds, she easily fell asleep. She didn't even hear him apparate in.

(ooc: hope this is okay! i figured they needed a thread so i tossed one up!)

Today was the day. Right after his shift, he was going to go back to his old place, stuff everything into a knapsack, wave this hellhole goodbye, and apparate right inside of Lisa's place. It sounded like any other Saturday night, really. The only difference was that he wouldn't be coming back. Ever! Hopefully.

Since he was a resident now, he had free reign to apparate wherever he wanted. What was most logical? The bedroom of course. He popped into his new sleeping quarters with a smile on his face and his life's belongings on his back. There, he saw Lisa sleeping. On his bed. It made him a little nervous.

Putting his things down, he crept up to her and leaned in, watching her for a couple of seconds. Yep. Definitely asleep. Time to wake her up!

"BOO." He suddenly shouted into her ear, a large grin on his face.

	Lisa jumped awake, swinging her arm and nearly missing Marcus by an inch. "What the..?!" It took her a moment to focus her vision before she sat up, zeroing in on her friend and new roommate. "Oi. "Hee," he grinned impishly before heavily planting his bottom onto the bed next to her so the mattress would flump and the springs would strain.

"New flatmate privileges. I'm a human alarm clock. Besides, I thought you'd want to help me unpack!" Well, that was more of an excuse than anything. He only had to empty out his knapsack full of underwear into one of the drawers.

	She felt the bed moan under his weight. It made her nervous. She sat up, yawned and hopped off the bed. "What is it exactly that you need help unpacking? We both know you've only got knickers in that knapsack." She probably knew him too well. (Reply to this) (Parent)
