Lavender opened the gift shop and got things in order for the day. Saturdays were busy with visiting families and she usually sold out of flowers and 'Get Well' cards then the teddy bears went. She set her shop assistants in order then told them she had a meeting to get to and she would be back in awhile. Lavender sometimes took advantage of being manager, but she had good assistants and knew she wouldn't be needed in the front of the shop for a bit.

Lavender made her way downstairs to the basement level. It had been over a month since the last time she'd been down there and her skin felt a little clammy, like it had last time. Only now, she wasn't identifying a body, she was acknowledging a new family. Lavender knocked on the door of the morgue then pushed the door open, the smell overwhelming her sensitive senses. "Hello?" she called out, resisting the sudden urge to leave as her stomach turned over. "Adrian are you in here?" she asked, hoping he had an office not in the vicinity.

	Adrian stared at her dumbfounded as he tried his hardest to listen. There was so much information coming in at one time, he struggled to keep up. 	Oh, that was just fantastic - her biological father had multiple affairs. That just about made her skin crawl. "Well, it has a lot to do with everything," she said. "Your father... has another child. A daughter, Adrian..." Lavender said, giving him a look. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Yeah," he was still trying to process it. He couldn't say he was surprised because his father wasn't known to be the most committed man in the world. 	Lavender had to laugh at his comment. "Oh... well, I don't have that kind of news for you," she assured him. Perhaps in a couple of months she would let her new brother know he was at the very least going to be an uncle. "So..." she nodded. "Well... I just got married, so you have a brother-in-law, too."
