WHO: Harry and Audrey
WHAT: Some distressing news
WHEN: Friday afternoon, end of day
WHERE: Her office, St. Mungo's

Harry knocked on Audrey's door, wishing he was here to see her for his own problems. There had been a disturbing incident this morning at the hospital, and while most of the gossips knew nothing of any value, Harry knew the whole story. Unfortunately, it involved his family. He thought Audrey had the right to know before the report went up to her husband.

On a good day, Audrey had control of her emotions. She could be happy and cheerful and keep a positive attitude. But there were some things Audrey keep smiling through and this was one of them. Reaching up to cover her eyes, Audrey fought to keep the anger, pain, hurt and sorrow at bay. "You're going to tell Percy," she said. It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

Even if nothing had happened. Even if nothing would come from this incident, it would still bring their problems back to the forth of their minds. Dropping her hand away, Audrey let out a long sigh.

"He's going to be angry."

	And what was she going to say to him? Percy would have questions, but Audrey didn't have any answers for him. She shook her head. "No, don't wait. Go ahead. You'll be able to explain it far better than I could." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

All she could do was nod. Audrey's mind was overwhelmed with possible theories and what-ifs and a dozen other thoughts. Her hands went into her hair and Audrey tried her best to hold herself together.

Tried and failed. She could feel herself cracking under the past failures and the longing she felt for a child. She wanted nothing more than to make her family complete and knowing it wasn't happening and now it felt dirty by being associated with a criminal. Her eyes watered up and Audrey swallowed back against the lump in her throat.

"When you talk to him, could you please tell Percy I will meet him at home?"

	Harry wasn't the type to hug people and tell them it would be okay. Instead he just had to help her by figuring out what was going on. "Alright. I'll let him know." (Reply to this) (Parent)
