Who? Lavender and Kevin
Where? Their flat
When? Friday evening
What? Lavender "cooked" for her husband
Rating? Likely high

OK, so it wasn't homecooked, but there was a lot of love put into the meal that Lavender had set up. Kevin wasn't in his studio when she'd arrived home so she could only hope that he would be home in time for dinner. He'd always had dinner ready for her - now it was her turn. Lavender had ordered a rich meat lasagna, garlic bread, and caesar salad from an Italian restaurant near St. Mungo's and had picked it up on her way home. She would attempt to pass it off as her own, but her new husband knew that Lavender couldn't cook - not even something as simple as lasagna.

So, Lavender brought out their nicest dishes, set out beautiful crystal goblets, lit tapered candles on the table, dimmed the lights in the kitchen and set the table perfectly. Everything was presented beautifully, down the details - and the food was staying piping hot thanks to a handy little charm. She grinned, clapping her hands as she dashed upstairs to change into a pretty dress (putting on something far less comfortable under her dress), then hurried downstairs when she heard Roxy barking at the door, announcing Kevin's arrival home.

"I wouldn't trade you for the world," she promised him. Lavender reached over and took his hand in hers, running her finger over the band. It was identical to hers except that it was wider. She lifted his hand and pressed her lips to the band.

"You're even more beautiful after we've had sex," he said just above a whisper. "Your cheeks are flushed, your eyes look awake. You're really quite radiant right now."

"It's called afterglow," she grinned, threading her fingers with his, watching how her diamond sparkled next to his band. "Your skin is very warm and I just want to lay here with you all night," she sighed.

"That sounds like a plan." Kevin reckoned he'd never be cold again as long as Lavender was always in his bed. Also it helped to have a dog on his feet. Kevin was content just to lay here and do nothing, just to be here with her.

Her eyes drooped heavily and she nuzzled against him, feeling like she was going to fall asleep. "Do you... care if I sleep?" she yawned.

"Go ahead. I'm sure I'm soon to follow." On cue, Kevin had to yawn. "Yup, I'm there too."

She shifted away from him a little, settling down on her pillow before she draped her arm across his chest, holding him closer as she drifted.
