Who: Audrey Weasley & Harry Potter
When: Monday Morning
Where: Harry's Office, DMLE, Ministry of Magic
What: Therapy Session

Her appointment book, it turned out, was put away in its proper place. It was no wonder Audrey couldn't find it. After consulting it, she saw that her appointments were all in the afternoon and early evening.

She thought about traveling to the Ministry with Percy, but wasn't sure if Harry would be there that early or not. So instead, she had breakfast with her husband before he left for work and spent an hour or so tending to laundry and cleaning up their home. Knowing she'd be getting home rather late, Audrey went about making dinner for that evening so when either of them came home, all that needed to be done was heating the dish up. She felt rather productive before she headed over to the Ministry to see Harry.

Being Percy's wife had some benefits. Like a floo connected to the Ministry so she didn't have to bother with the visitor's entrance. She smiled at the people she knew, greeted a few people she had become friendly with and eventually made her way up to Harry's office. Knocking lightly on the door, Audrey stuck her head inside and smiled.

"Harry? Are you busy?"

"Informal." Harry flicked his wand to draw a chair for her. He sat back down when he left the hug and started fiddling with his ink well.

"I'm worried about Ginny. She hasn't been sleeping well. She hurts herself in her sleep."

Settling into the chair, Audrey kept her notebook tucked away in her bag. No doubt she'd record the session when she left, but for now she didn't bother.

The news of Ginny surprised her, but Audrey had learned to keep her face void of reaction during her sessions. "Hurts herself how? And poor sleeping habits could be anything, I'm afraid. It's hard to attribute that symptom to any one thing."

"She thrashes around a lot, really bad nightmares. I've had to get out of bed a couple of times... wakes up bruised and scratched." Harry forced himself to stop playing with the inkwell. "I don't know what the Carrows did to her while they were at the school. I don't know, I can't imagine what could do that to her. She's so strong."

"Have you tried talking to her about these dreams? And how often do they occur? Are you able to wake her during them or not?" Audrey listed off several questions, but her tone remained calm and relaxed. There was no need to worry Harry more than he already was.

"A person's strength cannot be measured on what they endure, but by how the continue on with their life," she said softly.

"We talked a little. I think she wanted me to talk to you about it." Harry tried to remember the conversation. It was a few weeks ago now. "I came home late and helped patch her up. She tells her mum they're Quidditch bruises so she won't worry.

"When she has the nightmares, when they're really bad and they wake me up, she's hard to wake." Harry wasn't really worried about startling her and potentially getting smacked. He could take a hit or six million. He just didn't want to upset her even more.

Which likely mean that Ginny was ashamed to discuss herself. Audrey filed that away in her mind and nodded. "I doubt any excuse is going to keep Molly from worrying, but it's probably best if she doesn't know the true nature of the bruises."

"What do you think is going on, Harry?" If Audrey was going to truly get to the root of the problem she would have to speak to Ginny personally. But she wasn't about to pass up the chance to speak to someone who had sought her out.

"I don't know." He rubbed the back of his neck. "She's always afraid to let me see her scars," Harry added. "I guess that's related. It's like she really, seriously, thinks she could ever be ugly."

"And I'm sure you've assured her many times over that she is far from unattractive," Audrey said kindly. Harry was a sweet person and she didn't doubt he was more than wonderful to her sister in law.

"It's harder for women to suffer physical scars then men. Even the best of us can be vain at times, especially when we want to look our best for the person we love. It's not hard to understand that Ginny wants to be perfect for you and until she feels she's beautiful, no amount of reassurance on your part is going to make a difference."

"Yeah..." it was hard for him. Harry thought Ginny was beautiful, but it was a major problem with intimacy if Ginny was picky about what angles she let him see her naked at. "It's just... hard."

"Understandably so. If I may ask, what is her reactions when you touch any of her scars?" Audrey was mentally making a list of everything it could possibly be, but she simply needed Harry to keep talking if she was going to learn anything.

"She mainly tries to move so that I can't see them. She doesn't outright stop me, she just gets awkward and bashful. She'll lay on her back so I can't touch them or see them... things like that." Harry started to feel a blush creep into his cheeks because he was not used to discussing sex with anyone but Ginny, and even then he was awkward.

"It's obvious she's ashamed of them, but I'm sorry, Harry.. I can't do much to resolve the problem unless I speak with Ginny. I'll get in touch with her and try to make some progress, all right?" She noted the blush and wondered if she should continue to push him or not. Audrey understood that some people felt uncomfortable discussing intimacy with others, but she wasn't sure if that was a result of Harry being modest or a fear of intimacy.

"Is Ginny the only sexual partner you've had, Harry?"

"Of course," Harry said, wondering when he'd have had time to have sex with someone else. He was kind of busy saving the world until he was almost eighteen and by then he was totally devoted to Ginny.

"And has it always been like this between the two of you?" Audrey didn't quite have an idea yet as to what she needed to do or work on with them both, but the more questions she asked, the more she could help in the long run.

"I only ask because problems with intimacy can quickly spiral into problems with communication and so on."

"Uh... well I mean we were together for a short time my sixth year, then the war happened and I was on the run. Afterward... you know Molly. I think a lot of the fact that we waited had to do with that. You know, Ginny seems like the type to throw rules and opinions and traditions aside, but her mother still... Molly Weasley tends to loom in a lot of our consciences, I think." Harry had to laugh at that.
