After the press had left, Lavender was still sitting at her table, watching the excitement die down after the auction. She'd lost her bid on Kevin - by a lot - and wanted to at least talk to him before she called it a night. She had no idea what he might be doing, but she'd thought she would win. Who was she kidding? He was Mr. Rockstar, one of the most popular wizards around - there was no way she'd ever stood a chance, really.

Once the crowds started to disperse, Lavender stood and made her way over to Kevin. She walked across the banquet hall toward the stage where he was still standing, her silver dress swishing a little as she moved. The one-shoulder look worked for her as it covered her bite perfectly. "Hey there, Mr. Rockstar," she smirked when she was close enough for him to hear her. They hadn't gone public with their relationship yet and didn't know what kind of publicity he might want.

	They were in the hall outside of his penthouse apartment. It was the best place to apparate because he had the only door in the hall. He could hear Roxy whimpering on the other side. She'd heard them land. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Kevin nodded. He unlocked the door and cracked it open. "Roxy, sit." Kevin opened the door completely. A black lab-greyhound mix sat on the floor, ears back, tail wagging, waiting for permission to get up and fawn over people. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Her jaw dropped a little when they walked inside and she got her first look at the size of his flat. "Wow... I'm in the wrong line of work," she teased. Lavender looked down at Roxy who was whining and itching to get up. "Oh, she's adorable, Kevin," she grinned, squatting down a little to hold her hand out to the dog. The flat was very modern, with a lot of sleek black and cool grays in the decor. Kevin's lower level opened to a big living room with a few magazines on the coffee table. Across the room was a door to a large kitchen. To their left was a set of stairs and two doors, one to a bathroom, the closer one to his studio. Up the stairs was the master bath and bedroom and nothing more.

Roxy licked Lavender's hands and then ducked her head under to have her ears scratched. "I don't really have the whole floor," Kevin explained. "There's a laundry room on the other side of the hall, but they have to take the service elevator to get to it."

Lavender was obliging, rubbing Roxy's head, then scratching behind her ears. "Oh, you're a good girl," she smiled before she stood. Roxy didn't like that and scooted over to Lavender, wagging her tail as she begged for more.

"This is amazing, and I hope I get the full tour. But... I also hope that a shower is on the tour," she smiled sweetly up at him because she definitely felt in need of one.

	Kevin walked up the stairs and waved for Lavender to follow. "There's a shower downstairs but it's cramped. This one's much nicer." His own shower, in his large bathroom with a tub and a shower both. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lavender followed him into the master bedroom, her eyes taking in everything as she held his hand. Once inside the bathroom, her jaw dropped again. "My flat could fit in here," she whispered.

Standing beside him, Lavender leaned over, pressing a kiss to the shoulder she'd bitten. "Mmmm, do you want to order some dinner... or do you need a shower, too?" she asked softly.

	"And make really good use of our time," she added, lifting her arms as she pulled her dress up and over her head. All she was wearing was a garter that had held her wand against her thigh. 	Lavender had to laugh. "Where else would I have been able to put it?" she grinned, opening the door to his shower as she stepped inside. The water was hot and immediately soothing. The full moon wreaked havoc on her nerves and a hot shower always helped to tone it down, if only for a few moments. "Hurry up while the water is hot." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Her eyes fluttered at his touch to her hyper-sensitive skin. Lavender turned to face him, the water streaming down her back as she ran her hands down his chest, leaning up to kiss him. The edge had been taken off back in the alley, just enough to allow her to enjoy him for a bit... well, she would enjoy him all night, but at least for the moment she could just enjoy being with him.

	She ran her fingers down his hips and around to caress his back. "I meant what I said earlier," she whispered, pulling her head back a fraction of an inch to look up at him. 	"I don't have to hide with you," she added, leaning up to kiss him softly. If it was possible, her skin felt warmer then the water, his skin felt the same way.
