I'm supergirl and I'm here to save the world...
Who? Scarlet and OPEN When? Thursday Night Where? St. Mungo's, first floor followed by St. Mungo's, back alley What? Scarlet stops a thief. Rating? not determined
Scarlet noticed the man a few moments after she pushed through the doors entering St. Mungo's. She disliked the evening shift, immensely, but she was leaning how to sleep during the day and it wasn't that difficult, once everything was said and done. Besides, if she slept during the day, that meant her aunt couldn't annoy her about things she'd rather not talk about. Specifically the fact that she was unmarried and not dating a "nice, respectable fella." Merlin, she must have told her aunt about half a dozen times that she was not inclined that way, but you try telling a pureblood woman you were gay. It wasn't exactly the easiest task in the world.
The man wore an old battered cloak and had his wand held precariously in his left hand. He looked quite inebriated and very, very angry. Knowing that men like that often made rash decisions which led to irrevocable situations, Scarlet quickly made her way towards him, determined not to alarm those in the waiting room. She smiled as she approached him and used the oldest trick in the book: befuddlement.
"Uncle Franklin!" she crooned, walking right up to him and grabbing his left hand in hers. "How wonderful of you to drop in on me like this. Why don't we go outside for a chat?" The bubbly tone of her voice made her want to vomit, but not half as much as touching the older man did. She half-dragged half-pushed the man towards the door and out into the muggle streets of London. Pulling him down the side alley, she pulled out her wand and said "Petrificus Totalus" with no hesitation in her voice. There were many times she had had to do this in the past, especially when the war had just ended and Death Eater supporters would try to get as many healing potions as they could without paying. The man's body clamored to the ground and Scarlet sent out a patronus to the MLE. As she waited for an Auror to respond, she pulled out a pack of muggle chocolate and took a bite. Five minutes in and already she was trying to take out a potential thief without causing alarm; this was going to be a long night.
