Post-Ceremony Luncheon - Victor and Sue
Sue reflected on his words for a moment, considering her father and how he had been so very fixated on his work to the absolute exclusion of everyone and everything else. Victor was certainly right about how scientists focused on their work. Reed was another prime example of how work could just take over everything.
"This is very true," she agreed with a nod of her head as her thumb idly brushed over a petal. "And you should." A further nod and a slow encouraging smile. "You're a lot of fun when you put your mind to it." Sue reached out to lightly tug on Victor's jacket, a faint teasing gesture.
Of course that stopped when he said what he did and her teeth slipped out to catch her lower lip. "Yeah?" Sue's lips curled into another smile. "Well, good. I'm glad. I enjoy myself in your company as well." And she did, very much so. "But you are aware now that I know that I'm going to demand more of your time. In the interest of encouraging you to have more fun." And it was clear she was teasing, maybe even flirting.
