Scott's answer did not quite sate Ororo's own curiosity, but it did bring more questions with it. This conversation would only benefit them both now, no matter the outcome. "I have never shared my living space with another," she stated, though he was well aware of that fact. Ororo's romantic liaisons were either brief or kept far from the school. "But I do not wish for us to live together if it is what one or the other simply believes should happen at this moment in our relationship.
"You have lived with many and you have done so quickly, and that troubles me. But I do not believe our relationship has ever followed the same path as those in our pasts. That does not guarantee success, but I do believe it can act as insurance to us both that this relationship will continue to thrive separately from the ones behind us." Her chin tilted upright slightly and she offered a smile, "We should try it. If our living arrangement fails then we will know that we are not suited for one another."
