Spontaneity wasn't usually her thing, and jumping headfirst into a situation without any real direction struck her careless. The masquerade hadn't called for a detailed plan by any means, but she'd still had a general idea of what she wanted to do and what she wanted to avoid. Unfortunately all that went out the window once she put on her mask and everything suddenly ceased to matter - everything except the here and now, that is. Every choice seemed like a good one and bad ideas didn't exist.
She couldn't think of a reason to not kiss him, and that was good enough for her. Her arms wound around his neck to keep him close, parting her lips willingly against his despite the fact that they were next to the bar. In the very back of her mind she felt the faint beginnings of unease, but her inhibitions were slow to return and didn't make her stop - yet.
