A soft laugh followed his kiss, which was unexpected but not unwelcome, and she didn't let him pull back too much - just enough to allow her to look up at him properly. Considering her lack of experience she should have been stepping all over his feet but she wasn't, which probably had something to do with her partner's skill - but maybe she had some natural skill of her own.
The fallen angel didn't mind the lack of conversation, as the silence that accompanied a dance was more natural than awkward. When the song ended she slowed along with him, one hand still on his shoulders and the other toying with his jacket collar. "Hmmm." She liked being given the choice, able to make a decision he would follow, and she looked towards the bar. "I'll let you get me a drink first, and then we'll see about another dance."
Not that the Doctor needed to worry about her refusing. She'd decided she liked him, which was likely impulsive but nonetheless meant he was luckier than most.
