He was particularly pleased with himself for having requisitioned the gear for the party, since he'd been throwing away costume ideas twice a day in the week leading up. Of course, in typical fashion he'd been struck with a moment of brilliance at the last minute, and had to resort to certain creative measures to get the suit on time. While his usual methods weren't legal in the strictest sense of the word, the important part was that the gear wasn't stolen and that it would be returned after the party.
Of course, at the rate that the evening around the two men was progressing into a cesspool of delicious debauchery, he'd have to find a dry-cleaner's who could be paid to clean a police uniform without a second glance.
