Who: Meredith, and Poppy Barnes, Open
When: After this phone call
What: Trying to find out what's wrong with their sister Hazel
Where: The Hospital
Warnings: Sibling angst, and lots of swearing
Meredith paced angrily along in the waiting room. The nurses were eying him warily, and he could tell the wanted him to sit down, but he didn't really give a fucking shit about that. He was almost tempted to flip them off just for the hell of it. The doctors weren't telling them anything. His sister was hurt, and they weren't fucking telling him what was fucking wrong! It was lucky that Mere had thought to inject himself with X before the cop had shown up to take them to the hospital (another bastard who didn't know shit) because otherwise he knew he'd be tearing this place apart right now and that was the last thing Hazel needed. He'd save that for when he track down the no good son of a bitch who put his sister in the hospital, the bastard would pay, Mere would make fucking sure of that.
But why weren't they telling them anything. That cop on the phone had said the doctors would be able to explain what was happening, and to get there quick but so far it had just been more fucking waiting. Meredith had never been a patient person, he was more of a this needs to get done so do it already kind of guy. Or if you listened to Poppy he was an impatient ass with no impulse control, he preferred his explanation. All this waiting was driving Mere to the edge though, he could feel the rage building at the back of his mind and he knew if he wasn't careful then he'd go off. The left over soreness from the accident certainly wasn't helping either, he might not have broken anything but he'd banged himself up pretty bad. Finally snapping Mere turned and punched the wall of the waiting room, not quite going through but leaving a sizable dent in the plaster "Why aren't they telling us FUCKING ANYTHING!"
