[ E-Mail to O. Monarch. Subject: One-Week Update ]
Mr. Monarch,
This is just an update on how things are going for the April Fool's Day party and the Orin Monarch National Forest.
I secured the Washington Park Arboretum, which is owned by the University of Washington, for the party. We'll have the whole park that night into Saturday morning. There's a real pretty Japanese garden that's a special exhibit, I figured that was a nice place to host the VIP area. I've already ordered the drinks, and I'm working on getting the bars and hiring bartenders. I didn't ask before, did you want snacks to be served?
When you get the chance, give me a list of the VIPs for the event. I want to have the invites sent out by next Wednesday, so get me the list as soon as you can. I'm working on Mr. Sparke's hat.I've called ten farms, six greenhouses, and one weird plant fanatic and Because the Washington Park Arboretum is a university-owned property that's also largely for research and study, they don't have a maze. However, I found a farm that grows shrubs in pieces specifically for arranging mazes at public venues. I'd bet money they're Creations like us, there's no way a normal person could do this crap. Your maze will be there. I think my hair is 50% gray now. If you don't get some action in that maze I am going to kill you.
I'm trying to find out more about the trees you've ordered, since most of them are from places that aren't like Seattle. I know you want them to be planted out back, but I don't think you want them dying. So how open would you be to making a greenhouse?
If you can think of anything else I need to know or do, let me know as soon as you can.
Thanks,
Hayley
[ E-mail to W. Lowell. Subject: Botany ]
Will,
I know genetics is your thing, but I just thought I'd ask if you happened to know anything about botany. Mr. Monarch wants to plant his exotic trees on the Monarch Industries grounds, but all the research I've been doing is suggesting we'll need to build a greenhouse first. Any insights?
Thanks,
Hayley
[ E-mail to A. Main. Subject: Trees ]
Audrey,
Have you heard anything about the tree order? Let me know when they should be coming in once you find out. We'll have to put them somewhere if we need a greenhouse because we can't just leave them outside to die no matter how little Mr. Monarch actually plans ahead
Thanks,
Hayley
