Can you run a background check for me, poppet?

I miss our "come to Jesus" talks, dove. How are you?

How did You It disturbs me how easily you can discern what I'm thinking, even over the internet, poppet. I enjoyed it, too.

If you were thinking the same thing, then perhaps we both thought it an appropriate subject matter to bring up once our conversation concerning Mr. Drake Wallace concluded for the time being.

He's quite good at that. [...] I have been using the internet to research common slang terms that could be used to define things that I do more completely than formal speech.

When two individuals meet to watch a movie and eat dinner in an informal setting, it is often referred to as "hanging out." There is, however, a caveat in this definition. If the two individuals have [...] feelings for one another, the meeting is instead called a "date."

Yes. All that is true. [...] Are you suggesting we refer to last night as a date?

[...] I believe that it would be best to use that term as it best describes the situation we wish to refer to.

[He knows she'll hear him, but lets out a whoop of excitement anyway, followed with a "Yes!" He knocks his chair over in his exuberance.]

I agree. That would be the most logical thing to do. Then I suppose it would be fair to say we're [...] dating?

[Seconds after Adam starts making noise, Toby jumps in place, swatting at the floor, and lets out one loud bark. Daryl silences him before he can carry on, though she finds herself unable to discipline him properly - she cannot seem to keep the expression and tone necessary.]

Since we have had [...] several of these meetings that fulfill the definition of "date," I suppose that would be a very fair decision.

Rowan doesn't like you, and she and Orin are determined to hunt us down and meet you. I think it would be best to avoid that if at all possible, thus: disguises. I thought it was a clever idea.

You know, there's something they have you do in couples therapy called "role playing." What if you play Bonnie and I play Clyde?

We've been dating for less than an hour, why would we need to role play in couples therapy already?

You're her brother. She will recognize you no matter what disguise you wear. If you are so concerned, we can simply not attend the carnival.

We are attending the carnival. I am going on the Ferris wheel with you, and I'm kissing you at the top. We're going to ride horses together on the carousel, and I'm feeding you cotton candy.
