To Whom It May Concern,

I am currently looking for a PR manager or firm willing to work with a non-profit organization.  I would prefer someone with whom I could put on retainer for special functions and events, instead of day to day things.  The ideal candidate has 5 years of work experience, at least 3 in the Public Relations field.  A Bachelors Degree is required from a good university, a Masters degree would be a plus.  Salary to be discussed.  Send a copy of your resume to mmoore@hopeforhumanity.org; include three references.

Ms. Moore,

I have seen your posting on findajob.com and believe I may be of assistance. My name is Edward Okoye, and I have been working at the firm GlassPR since 2005. Attached is my resume and three references that would be happy to speak with you about my work. I will not elaborate here, as I believe everything you must know is in the attachment.

Best wishes,
Edward Okoye

[Attachment: Okoye2010.docx
The resume includes a list of clients he has had since 2005, including Kylie Dawes and Anton Sparke. It also lists his educational background at Duke University.]

Mr. Okoye,

Your resume is impressive. I'll be inquiring with Mr. Sparke and Ms. Dawes immediately. Would you be free next Friday at 1pm?

Sincerely,
Madison Moore

Ms. Moore,

Thank you. Yes, I certainly am. Would you like to meet in an office of your choice, or have a lunch meeting?

Best wishes,
Edward Okoye

Mr. Okoye,

Lunch would be preferable. There's a Louisiana-inspired restaurant at [insert address here] that I have yet to try. Is that acceptable? 1pm or another time?

Sincerely,
Madison Moore

Ms. Moore,

That sounds fantastic. Again, one o'clock is perfectly fine for me. I will see you then.

Best wishes,
Edward Okoye
