Description of what you are looking for: Based off an idea I found on Tumblr. Basically, Season 8 ends with Sam and Dean trying to close the gates of Hell but, possibly, fall in. As they fall in, Adam manages to crawl out. The au would revolve around Adam and Cas learning to trust and lean on one another while dealing with their own inner demons. Long term goal: saving Sam and Dean and closing the gates of hell. Mostly character development, relationship, and world building. Does NOT have to be slashy in the slightest
