Who: Tom Riddle & Narcissa Black What: Waking up - getting angry that he lost his chance When: Around 1AM Where: Just outside Aquilo Open: Possibly to other HP characters, later Rating: 14A
It won't be long now, Tom thought with a smirk as he pulled up his hood as he walked through the halls of Riddle Manor, he could hear the voices coming from the dining room, and he was so very close. Inside, he could feel his heart rate accelerating and his breathing start to quicken, but not out of fear, out of excitement and above all, rage. He furrowed his brows and clenched his jaw, his handsome face distorting into sheer anger, he couldn't believe he was related to these muggles. He would have none of that. He could hear the laughter now, and his father's voice, along with his grandparents.
He didn't see the servant that was in the other room as he waited outside of the dining room. "Tonight, you die." he muttered under his breath, and another moment later, he whirled around and charged into the dining room, his wand held high, his hood falling.
"AVADA KEDA-"
... ...
It was silent. A little too silent, and Tom didn't know what happened. He felt groggy, and his muscles and bones felt very stiff, like he had been sleeping for an eternity. Opening his eyes, he pulled his brows together at the dark room, he could tell that he was on a bed. He frantically reached around him, but then let out a breath as he caught his wand on the nightstand beside the bed. Muttering a quick spell, the lights came on inside of the unknown room and he looked around. For a moment, he couldn't remember what had happened, where was he?
Suddenly he remembered. He could hear the laughing, and then the sudden screaming, but there was no flash of green, there was no death. Feeling his rage start to boil all around him, he shot up from his bed and started throwing hexes and curses all around the room, not even really needing to say any incantations, he had learned not to, it was all in the mind. He only needed to for the Unforgivables.
He charged through the door and looked around, he didn't care where he was, he was just enraged that he had lost his chance to kill the remaining thread of his past, his childhood, the muggle part of him. Knocking everything in the living room over and sending flashes of light everywhere with his destruction, he didn't care if he woke anyone up, but oh, he wished that he had, because then he could have killed them too, or at least made them suffer. Bursting through the apartment door, he continued his destruction in the hallways, even breaking holes in other apartment doors. Once he was outside, he let out a loud scream of anger and frustration, catching the attention of a man just a few feet away. He would have no mercy, he needed relief. Immediately, he pointed his wand at the civilian, "CRUCIO!!" he shouted and watched as the man screamed in agony as he fell to the ground, writhing around. He could feel a little more relief, but it wasn't good enough. He heard a shriek and then he alerted his attention to a woman across the street who was staring in horror. "Avada Kedavra!" he yelled and pointed his wand at her, a bright green flash filling the street as the killing curse hit her.
He hadn't even noticed that his wardrobe had changed, instead of the simple black cloak he was wearing, he was back in his Hogwarts uniform.
Tom let out another loud growl and began torturing the man on the ground again, the adrenaline still coursing through him.
