She sighed, pushing herself farther onto the table and crossing her leg over the other. She bit her lower lip, her hand moving to one of the books on the table. She grabbed it and started to thumb through it until she reached the last page - the page that had Sam's signature on the take-out card. She shook her head, she missed the Reader already.
She brought her face up to meet his again as she let out a sigh. "Yeah. Really. You aren't the first this has happened to, but..." She swallowed. She was having some serious problems with this. She'd already explained this to him. How could he just have forgotten everything?! How could he have forgotten her like this? "Everyone falls asleep one place and wakes up here. In an apartment with new roommates. All your things are in their place and thats the end of it. You can't make calls out, any emails you try to send to anyone outside the district get returned... And there isn't any way out. We're all basically trapped here." She stopped shaking her head. "I've already explained this to you once." she handed him the book, as if to show him Sammy's signature. "He did a lot of research here..."
She smiled slightly at the smile he was holding down. She could tell by now that he was doing that. "Last time you did. I was walking by and well... thats how we met." She shook her head. "At least this time you didn't wake up in the car. Waking up in her? Can't be comfortable at all." She'd been in the car. She knew how comfortable the front seat was but still, to sleep in there (given all the crap that was thrown on the floor of the backseat too?) it couldn't be comfortable.
Half of her wondered if she should ask him to come out for a beer with her... that had been how this all started. Her friends knew how much she missed him... how she was so confused about what had happened. This didn't make any sense. What was she supposed to say to him? Tell him how much she'd missed him? He'd been gone for days. Days with no word! Sam hadn't come bacn and when Dean had he didn't remember anything! The last time she'd seen him or heard from him was Halloween! That was more than a week ago! What had happened?!
