Who: Su Li and Michael Guerin
What: Su trying to find out more about Michael
When: evening
Where: Michael’s room
Su never really knew what was going on with Michael, he was worse than any stupid Sytherin had ever been. At least she knew where they stood. But Michael, Michael changed his mind every second. Halfway through a kiss he was probably already regretting it, hating her again. The way he always stormed out after kissing her only proved it in her head. And whenever she tried to be nice to him, whenever she tried to get him to open up, he refused to divulge at all.
So she had decided that she was going to do some snooping. Generally she was opposed to doing this sort of a thing, it was all so very 3rd year of her to do, but what else was she supposed to do? Every time she tried to talk about this with Michael he grew angry, she wasn’t getting anywhere with him! At first she just opened the door to see if he was in there, even though she saw him leave moments before out the front door. And then her smile grew as she came in the room and closed the door behind her. It was messy, but what else was to be expected from him! After searching through his bed as well as underneath it and in his desk, she had found only things that she didn’t want to see – things typically in a boy’s room.
She tried to think like Michael, where would he want to keep something that he didn’t want out in the open for everyone to see? Something personal? Her first reaction was on himself, but there were some things that he couldn’t carry around all of the time. So she went to his closet, the only thing closed in his room. She opened the doors cautiously, hoping she wasn’t going to find something she didn’t want to see in there. But for the most part it looked untouched. Then she found his journal. She sat down on the floor of his closet, the door mostly closed behind her as she debated whether or not she should read it. It was a violation of his privacy, something he might never forgive her for. But she had already crossed that line! She read through a bit of it but felt guilty before she even got to any parts about her. And before she could sneak out of the room, she heard his door creak open. Well now she was really busted. She carefully placed the journal back where she had found it and tried to breathe as silently as possible.
