"It was at least three quarters of a moment," he challenged with a smile in his voice, gesturing to the five unconscious men in the alley. "At least."
Zach fell silent at her question, unsure of how to answer that. The truth was, he didn't have a good reputation in the media, and that was what the people here went by. Who was Alex Udinov? She was the woman that the internet said she was. Who was Tony Stark? he was the guy from those movies. Zachariah's history on screen in his closest interpretation wasn't a good one, and that wouldn't worry him as much as it did if it wasn't so accurate. He had been a bad guy. He didn't mean to be, it wasn't something that he did on purpose, but he still had blood on his hands either way, and that mattered. She might not recognize him as the Green Goblin. But someone else in that tower sure as hell would.
Zach pulled his foot up, bending his knee and letting it rest on the hoverboard so he could drape his arm across it. "I guess I'm just not that much of a team player," he tried with a light shrug. "I'm not working off of a clean slate. I don't need digging."
