[A pretty female reporter is standing in what looks like a playground, the orphanage in the background with bright paints of flowers and rainbows on the brick wall. The banner at the bottom of the screen reads 'LAHEY CHILDREN'S HOME']
The average eighteen year old struggle looks like child's play compared to what one Isaac Lahey has taken on his plate. After a little shout out at the last Avengers news panel, donations have poured in for the Lahey Children's Home located in Brooklyn. We have Isaac here with us -
[She turns and Isaac comes into frame, wearing a simple t-shirt with blue fingerpaint smeared on his cheek. The interview seems to go well save for a moment where a little boy named Connor ran up and pestered Isaac until he picked him up so he could 'be on teebee'. Toward the end of the short segment, in which Isaac mentioned a toy drive for Christmas-]
And you've recently purchased the plot of land behind the orphanage, is that right?
[Isaac nods with a smile, shifting Connor in his arms.]
Yeah, that's right. With the donations that have been coming in we had the option to open up a second location, but we've decided to expand our first and open a women's and children's shelter next door. We're accepting volunteers and applications right now, construction will probably start after Christmas.
And do you chalk your success up to the Avengers press conference?
Oh yeah, definitely. Miss Potts has been a huge help, she's one hell of a hero. Oh - [He winces, looking at someone off camera.] Can I say that? I said that, can I - yeah, she's great. Thanks Pepper.
[Connor flails in his arms.] TANKS PEPPER!
[The reporter laughs and the camera pans to her so she can close the segment alone.]
I don't know what they're paying that Sharman guys so much money for. TV is easy as hell.
