All right ladies and gents, I'm Aaron O'Keever and I'm looking to mass hire right now at O'Keever Vineyard and Winery located in Marina del Rey, CA. Things are getting busy at the winery and Cori and I can't do all the front work by ourselves. I'm looking to fill a ton of positions ranging in pay from $10/hr to $75k/yr, both hourly and salaried positions, both full time and part time. If you're interested in any of the following and think you fit what I'm looking for, please stop in and talk to Cori or myself.
Gift Shop
Part time or full time available. Customer service experience preferred but not required. $10/hr. Must have be professional and have a fun personality.
Tastings
Part time or full time available. Must acquire liquor license for serving; we will pay the fees for that. You'd be running the tastings; you need to be personable and willing to make sure that the tasters are having a good time. Basically, you're putting on a show, but you get to call the shots. $12/hr.
Restaurant
Part time or full time available. Looking for servers, specifically, but if you've got a culinary degree, I can make space for you in the kitchen. It's a small restaurant and the menu reflects that, so it's a quick study if you already have the base knowledge. Servers make $4/hr and keep their tips on weekends/split their tips on the slower days during the week. Cook salaries negotiable based on experience.
Harvesting
Full time available. Must be able to handle being out in the sun for a full shift. You'd be picking grapes, anybody can do it, no experience required. $15/hr.
Warehouse
Part time or full time available. Nights preferred, but there are a few daytime positions available. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Basically, you're hauling shit. The more you can lift, the higher your pay, because I can't pay someone $20/hr to lift stacks of paper and then turn around and pay someone else who can lift a full barrel with help the same thing. So that's negotiable but positions start at $20/hr.
Winemaker
Full time available. Must have at least an associates degree in Oenology. Salary ranges from $55k/yr to $75k/yr depending on experience and is negotiable.
All positions include paid training. Displaced applicants do not require their federal working papers, just an ID so I can check for age. If you have a degree mentioned but do not have the papers here, I will be willing to pay for one of the resident techs to recreate it for you so that I can have copies on file, but trust me, I can tell if you're lying so don't do it.
