"Mine hasn't faded," Chase replied, though he was distracted by another thought at the mention of the tents, the gears turning as he chewed his lower lip.
"With the plague doctors it wasn't just a sample, though. They made sure somebody in that room saw then doin' what they did," Oliver chimed in. "I think we all know They can take samples from us any time they really want, They didn't need to-"
"Snake Plissken," Chase announced, as if that was the answer to everything.
"Kurt Russell?" Jack chirped thoughtfully from his lean in the doorway to the kitchen, obviously not catching on, but interested.
"Uh...no, uh...different Snake. Solid Snake. Sorry, um....carboard boxes," Chase continued, flushing slightly as he realized that probably wasn't explaining things better at all for anyone in the room who had no idea who that was. "Sorry, I'm still on the echolocation thing. The trunks and enclosed houses and tents all seem to keep them out, or from seeing us or whatever. Cardboard boxes are light enough that we can carry them around without too much trouble, and we don't have to spend time setting them up like a tent."
