"You're not wrong," Edwin replied to Lennon, and he was pleased to see that everyone was up and moving. "And a merry be careful to you too." He was already walking when he glanced back at Felix, glad to hear that he hadn't had to just abandon the bunny when they'd left yesterday. "I'm sure she'll be fine," he said hopefully, since Pam wasn't close enough to say it. Or maybe she just didn't want to after Felix had refused to help. Either way, he doubted they'd just let the rabbit loose. It was a boring way to mess with people, generally they did much worse.
They headed out, catching up to Pam on the platform that would bring them all back up the canyon. Edwin hesitated before he was able to get on the thing, and quickly moved to the side of the platform that faced the wall rather than looked out at the scenery. It was a beautiful view, he was sure, but he could appreciate it once they'd gotten out of the situation. He held onto the railing tightly before they'd even started moving, pointing his gaze directly up, since he couldn't judge distance by the sky.
Pam cleared her throat loudly, trying to rush everyone onto the thing, then smiled as everyone found their place to stand. "Is everybody ready? Here we go!" she announced, her cheerfulness not entirely covering up her annoyance with certain people. But she hit the start button anyway, and then with a jolt and an involuntary shout from Edwin, up they went.
