Tobias watched Owen and Chase disappear into the woods again, a slow breath escaping his lips. Then he quickly got to work taking his shoes and socks off, not wanting to get them soaked in the river. He immediately felt a little lost without Chase there to take charge, so to speak, but he was ready to get moving too. He was wondering if any of this was worth it. It would be dawn in a few hours and they would have to come back this way. But... it wasn't like they had anywhere else to go and he didn't want to sleep outside with those things wandering around.
