Well, he'd tried, not that he'd really been expecting anything. Felix took Edwin's offered hand to get to his feet, then moved with his bag over to where Owen and Chase were depositing gear to help carry some stuff. They sure as hell weren't getting all of it back if Felix had anything to say about it. "I think weatherproof is the best we're gonna get," he groused a little. "We should be able to walk it, I think. Just gonna be dark as fuck."
"I mean, an extra reminder doesn't hurt," Chase told Lennon, trying to sound confident once he'd recovered from Pam's hug. He couldn't quite rememeber just how many that was now. "And, uh... have someone go across first with a flashlight so whoever's holding the gear can see where they're going," he added, gesturing vaguely to the river as mentally he tried to psych himself up for more walking through monster-infested woods. He ended up leaving his entire bag behind, taking his gun, ammo, hammer, water bottle, phone, flashlight, and survival tool, spending a second tucking them into pockets, belts, and over shoulders. "The first aid kit is in the front pocket with my charging brick," he told Tobias before pulling him into a hug. "I'll send a message every twenty minutes or so. If you need any help with any of the stuff in there just message, okay?"
