"Oh, Owen! That's... I can't decide if that's brave or reckless," Pam cried. Admittedly, it was selfish that she wanted him to stay, if just because she thought that he'd be better at leading. Not that he'd been out to the nature center, as far as she knew, and really Felix was doing a fine job at getting them there, it just felt like people listened to Owen, and losing him would be a shame. And also just dangerous for him. "I expect a lot of updates, please. Are you sure about this? It's a good idea, it's just kind of scary tonight."
Despite everything, Edwin couldn't help the somewhat amused look he shot Felix. "Legs is not a nickname that's catching on," he told him, then looked at the river. "I remember it being deeper over here than it is by the mill, but I can't remember if it had been raining in the days before we came out here. There might be a little bit of actual swimming. I think we'll mostly be able to walk it, though...
He considered if he should go with Owen, but now his brain was fixed on the markers where they'd found the corpse, and he did not want to come across anything like that tonight while he was so worried. It was one thing to worry about it, it was another to witness it. But someone should check, just in case this was actually like the whole sleepwalking thing, right? "These markers need to come with a fucking guide," he grumbled to himself, feeling his anger spike. He looked to Owen. "Tell me if you find him?"
