Owen could understand Edwin's worry. There were only seven of them there and without the GPS working properly, there was no way to know who was where and if they were okay. "Out of everyone not here, I'm least worried about Oliver," Owen murmured, keeping his voice low enough that only Edwin could hear. "He'll take care of himself and if he finds any others, they'll be safe with him." He opted not to mention that he hadn't seen Oliver's phone when they were in the kitchen, because it could mean something bad, or it could just be that Oliver's phone was dead. "We should probably get going," he told the others, moving to pick up the supplies again. "The sooner we get there, the better. Even if there are only two of them out there tonight, we don't know where they are."
Tobis groaned inwardly at the thought of carrying all of that stuff again, but he wasn't going to complain. "What if the markers aren't bait though?" he asked, somewhat absently as he reached down to pick up the bag of snacks he had put together back at the house. "Remember... I mean... the other markers before... they didn't move, did they?" He meant Vanessa and Jerome's markers but he also knew those two had disappeared and he kind of regretted even mentioning it now. Maybe he was remembering it wrong, which was entirely possible. "But I'm sure it's a glitch," he added quickly, just to smooth over any worry it might raise.
