Lennon had never been so happy to see Chase and Tobias before, probably ever. He'd been by himself, hearing strange noises that had caused him to divert from his path to the house several times. Once he'd gotten there he figured he'd just missed the others. One thing he was glad to find was his phone, and he'd hurriedly gathered a few odds and ends and taken the minute necessary to guzzle a Mello Yello. Thus fueled, he'd taken off in an attempt to catch up to Chase and the others. It was good to have a plan and know where they were going, and he was sure he walked as close to Tobs and Chase as humanly possible. He and Owen had never quite connected, but he was glad the guy was safe too.
He wanted to ask Chase if he'd heard from Kiley, but something about his friend's expression had stopped him. Hopefully she'd meet up with them at the nature center and they could all stop worrying.
Once they walked through the trees and saw the others, Lennon couldn't hold back the smile that broke out on his face when he caught sight of Felix. Edwin and Pam were there too, and he gave them a wave before putting down the backpack he'd grabbed and plopping his butt down next to him, nudging his shoulder against the other man's, gently and hopefully not too obviously. "Yo," he said, trying to decide if he wanted to take off his shoes or not.
