Edwin nodded thoughtfully, not at all minding that his "thing" hadn't been something sciencey. Legos didn't really make for fun weird facts, which Edwin sure enjoyed, but they took time and creativity and were absolutely not something Edwin would pick on for having as a hobby. Legos were fun, or at least, Edwin figured they must be. They were never his thing. But he could hopefully tuck that knowledge away for the next time they had an event like Christmas where they could all pick gifts for each other. "I don't know if they knew about the feathers thing back then," he told Felix, though he wasn't sure if that was true.
"Well I had an animal phase, obviously," Pam chimed in, smiling at how obvious that seemed. She pulled her feet out of the water, at least for the moment, as they were starting to feel like ice. "I think all the stuff I like now is stuff I liked when I was a kid. Except for, like, adult stuff, but that's not what we're talking about." No one had asked her, but she still felt like sharing.
"I don't think that counts as a phase, then," Edwin pointed out, though he didn't seem too invested in arguing his point as he looked to the forest again.
