The admission that he was hungover was oddly delightful to Pam, and she couldn't help but giggle. She reached over, patting Felix on his shoulder as she grinned. "Well then you conk out when we get there, sweetie, you've earned it," she told him, clearly still tickled by this. It wasn't even that funny, it was just kind of nice to be able to acknowledge something wild that was happening that didn't have them running in fear. "Honestly I would love a glass of wine right now. Remember all the parties we used to have at the mansion, that were, like, really cute and fun and stuff, but always a little like Ah! The world is ending so we might as well play some music and visit the free bar! Like, I even miss that. Though Cassi's was nice too. I actually liked all the clothes on the first floor."
"You know, they probably sent these monsters out to find us because we haven't had another Simms-sized civil war or conflict since he died," Edwin couldn't help but think. Not wanting to jinx their luck there, he superstitiously reached over and knocked on the nearest tree. "Maybe we're here now because they're bored with us."
"Well they should stop that," Pam replied. "We're not boring. We're adorable."
