Pam laughed a little when Felix jumped, then leaned back, feeling almost boneless as she propped herself up on her elbows and gave herself a moment to try to relax. "We should really make a project out of building a few bridges soon, even if they're just logs we throw across the river," she thought out loud, since this would not be the first time she'd be crossing the river that night. "The down a ravine part is totally weird, but maybe it's down there so we have a safe place to hide?"
Edwin seemed to still be considering joining them in their new, more comfortable positions, but all he could think of was when he'd run out here to get Lennon, then turned around to get Marco. His legs were so sore that day, but the moment he'd sat down he'd worried that he wouldn't be able to move any more that day. This felt the same, and so he stayed standing, but still stayed close to his friends. "It'll be nice to finally relax, when we get there," he sighed. "Well, physically relax. I don't think we're actually relaxing tonight." Which was too bad, because his last trip to the nature center had been really relaxing. He sighed again, waited a beat, the pulled his phone out of his pocket again. Nothing new. "This sort of crap almost makes me miss the town. At least we were always a few blocks away from Cassi's, and we could go grab dry socks and more comfortable shoes if we needed..."
