"Less scifi, more body horror, judging from what they said," Felix shrugged, then reached into his pocket when Lila moved closer and began shuffling through his stock of images. "I guess the marks are from where they got touched, but you'd think if they got kidnapped they'd have them all over. They don't. Not sure what makes those ones special."
He found the image he was looking for, the deep claw marks on the tree he'd taken the day they'd found the body, and turned it so she could see. "They left a path of this kind of shit. Could be easy to dupe if we needed to." He clicked his tongue, frowning thoughtfully. "I think one of the old group had a knock out thing a while back that never got used. It'd be a shit-ton more fun to find a way to leave monster marks on somebody while they're asleep."
