"Jeez, wouldn't hurt you to be a little optimistic, Li," Felix chided with a smirk. "If she's dead that's a fucking waste. Could've left both corpses for people to freak out over." He paused, considering, the corner of his mouth twitching a little with unveiled disgust. "Unless they're saving it. Which...yeah. That tracks." He glanced back to her then offered a shrug. "Don't need to be that good, I know where they hang out. A bunch of little ones is probably just as good as the big ones. Fish blood probably smells like fish though. Might not be able to pass it off as legit, but it's worth a fuckin' shot."
He glanced ahead of them again as the store came into full view, sliding his phone out of his pocket for ease of access to the small shopping list he'd made for himself. He was pretty sure instant coffee didn't make an appearance more than once or twice.
"Why 7-Eleven?" He asked suddenly, the question forming even as he'd thought of it. "Think we're sponsored?"
