So much for not blushing anymore. Edwin gave Oliver another hug, this time from the side so they could keep walking, and planted another kiss on the side of Oliver's face. "You're neat," he replied, snickering. "And I learn a lot of really interesting and fun things from you, too. But, thank you. You're probably right about the being used to it thing."
He let himself be steered away, making a little "Oh," sound in recognition, but let the conversation continue without any other interruption. "Well, I'll help you out," he assured him, figuring it'd be fun to teach Oliver a little bit. "Well, my watch is still my favorite thing I've worked on," he said, and he would have flashed it if his hand wasn't tucked in Oliver's pocket. "I've gotten to work on some nice older timepieces, though. You know, old pocket watches that have been in people's families for years. A lot of the time they just need cleaning, but it's just kind of cool." He paused for a moment, then laughed again. "This is not the conversation I expected to be having today," he admitted. "What about you, do you have a favorite carpentry... thing?"
