Dylan was busy scrabbling to find purchase on the stupid wall that had no footholds and her shoes seemed to refuse to grip long enough for her to get an elbow or something hooked over the top of the wall, and after a second of ineffectual scrabbling, she dropped back to the ground to shake the burn out of her biceps and forearms. "I like to think I'm in good shape," she said to Tasiya and Ettie with a rueful grin, "but pull-ups were never high on my list of things to do. I'm kind of regretting that right now."
She considered Ettie's offer, and nodded. "Or if two of us lift the third up to the top," she suggested, "and then one can push and the other can pull for the second, and then both up top can pull up the third person. I think it'll work. I'm bad at pulling myself up, but I can totally help lift someone, if one of you two wants to go first." She paused for a second. "I mean, assuming either of you need the help, that is. For all I know you're both Crossfit gurus who could do this in your sleep."
