After the freaky wake up call, once she'd managed to gather the nerve to investigate her new belongings, Ettie's new psychedelic sneakers been the only thing to get her motivated and out of the little cell she'd been left in. The whole place was weird, though she supposed she'd been in enough indoor amusement parks and activity centers in her life that she could pretend it was somewhat normal. It was the utter lack of people taking up the space that really unnerved her, and she couldn't help but feel like her handful of roommates could easily get lost in a place like this, somehow.
Once she'd watched the video and stretched, she started to feel a little more settled. This felt like warming up for track, and the promise of physical activity was more promising the longer she moved and the more she thought about it. She found herself caught at the very first bar for a few minutes, finding the simple act of just reaching the darned thing to be the real chore. Once she'd gotten her grip, she'd treated it like the monkey bars on the playground behind her old school. While her success didn't have any real finesse to it, all that mattered was that she'd done it. The obstacles after that weren't bad at all, and her confidence was riding high by the time she spotted Dylan and Taz.
"Hey!" Though her call was a boisterous half-whisper to remain conscious of to the people around her, her body seemed more than happy to make up for the lack of volume in sheer bounciness as she bee-lined for the two women. She paused as she watched Dylan make her jump, then struggle to get herself over. For a heartbeat she watched, as if wanting it to happen would make her friend go over, but when it clicked that if Dylan didn't make it she would have to start all over again she quickly stepped forward to help. "Here, can you put your foot on my shoulder? Would that help?"
