"Very nice," Dylan complimented on his snack display before promptly stealing a shrimp and dipping it into some cocktail sauce. She bit the whole thing neatly off at the tail, dropping the inedible bit into the trashcan behind the bar. She gathered the bottles as he picked up the snack plates, heading towards the door he'd indicated contained the pool.
"So, we totally need a big party," she continued. "Not down here, I guess, if the location would exclude some people by default, but some billiards room action wouldn't be amiss. What kind of stereo system is up there? I could definitely put together a dope playlist and handle drinks. Clearly you are experienced in the world of snacks; pretty sure the two of us could throw a real banger."
She stopped for a moment upon entering the pool room, staring at the ceiling. "Oh wow, this is beautiful," she said, turning a slow circle to take in the whole room. Mostly the ceiling. "I stayed in a hotel in Sydney once that had a setup like this."
