"I'll figure something out," Chase replied a little distractedly as he tensed through his shoe being taken off. The removal itself wasn't so bad, but the sharp ache that came when his foot was free caused him to squeeze his eyes shut. A whole new wave of sweat hit him at the all-too-familiar sensation, and he knew that he probably wasn't going to be as mobile as he had been the past day or two after this. Under the sock he knew it was at the very least the same purple mess it had been that morning, but his whole leg from the knee down felt bigger, and heavier without the support and constraints of the boot. "I'm gonna put it up," he grunted tensely, but instead of doing that right away he began to take his coat off, looking back to Tobias. "Could you um...could you help me put this under it?"
"Oh, you don't want me to stay away and you know it," Oliver teased as Edwin tried to protect himself, but he did move to get back to helping. "I'm gonna send message to Owen when food's done. I figure he might get himself ready and down here in the time it takes us to finish." Or whoever might drive down to get them. "You god any preference on ridin' or walkin'?"
