Kiley's lips twitched again when Oliver called her 'princess'. Should she call him house-dad now? "I can be both," she told Edwin. "Princess Dragon?" At least she got the reference to Beauty and the Beast and pushed her rather gross hair back behind her ear. "I figured five would be enough for me and--" Kiley had glanced out the window at that moment, distracted immediately by the lone figure coming down the street toward the diner. She inhaled sharply and then turned to push and nudge Tobias out of the booth. Tobias seemed confused at first until he looked up, out the window, and saw Chase as Kiley had. He made a small noise of disbelief but quickly slid out of the way and took her hand to help her up.
"Can you walk okay?" he asked. Kiley nodded, even if her legs still felt a little weak. The warmth of the diner had helped, and she didn't feel as faint as she had when they first pulled her out of the grave, or whatever the hell that had been. Plus, she felt a bit of adrenaline now, seeing Chase so close after she had nearly convinced herself in the dark that she probably would never see him again.
Without another word she pushed through the front door, ignoring the intense hunger pains in her stomach. Kiley couldn't run like she wanted to but she moved as fast as she could in his direction down the street, not really even caring if she fell over or collapsed. It was probably silly and melodramatic or whatever but she really didn't give a fuck. She just wanted to get to Chase.
