The little bickering had been how they'd basically been interacting for over a day now, and apparently the granola bar and jerky hadn't been enough to fix that. "Cemeteries... actually used to be used just like parks," Edwin started to say, softly, mostly to himself, because he didn't think his fun fact would actually diffuse the situation. He was cut off anyway.
"Whatever, it's over now, let's get out of here," Pam continued, now moving to try to catch the rooster again rather than try to lean on Oliver some more. Luckily, the thing was distracted enough by pecking at the sleeve of crackers that they had brought back up that Pam was able to wrap the thing in a blanket again, somehow almost effortlessly despite hardly managing to keep her balance just a minute ago. Things were different when there were animals involved.
