The tears didn't make him feel uncomfortable. God knew Tobias cried before. A lot actually. It was one of the things his stepdad had tried to knock out of him when he was younger. But it always felt worse holding it in, so he'd stopped trying. At least in private. But it seemed like Chase was agreeing with him so Tobias gripped his shoulder and squeezed gently.
"It's going to be okay. I'm going to go get dressed real quick and get my shoes and phone and stuff. I'll be right back. If there's a place I should be looking, maybe make a quick map? That way I can find it faster. And I'll message you of where I am and everything, so it'll kind of be like you're there? I'll be back in just a few minutes, okay? If she's down there, I swear I'll find her." He was hoping she would be. Then again, if she was... well, maybe it would be better if she wasn't?
