Rhiannon, Harvey and Tristan; Laundry Room; Sunday
Rhiannon had gotten down to the laundry room a little early, but she supposed it didn't matter as she had loads of laundry to do. She'd learned that the main cause of that particular problem was Harvey, who seemed to think that the only way to get something done correctly was by getting dirty in the process.
She looked to where he sat on the floor, quietly talking to his green army men and smiled as she dumped pair after pair of tiny little man pants into her laundry, then glanced down at her low rise jeans, lipstick red shoes and white gauze tank top again, hoping she didn't look too sloppy for Tristan.

"Oh that's fine," Rhiannon said, smoothing her hands over her hair. "We eat dinner every night, so whichever one you'd like to stop over would be fine."

"Except for when Uncle Everett comes over," Harvey piped up and Rhiannon fought not to wince.

"Well yes, not then," she said with a laugh and cleared her throat.

Uncle Everett sounded like a code name for something. Tristan didn't know if he'd even heard that name except used by some sixty year old guy that was a regular customer of his. And if that was the case, he hoped Rhiannon wasn't related to him.

"Okay. Maybe I could call then, before hand and let you know?" He suggested. That wasn't fishing fo her number, was it?

"Sure," Rhiannon said, trying not to grin too broadly. "That would be great."

It occured to her that she hadn't given him her phone number and she snapped out of it. "Oh! I'm sorry, uhm, I guess you need my phone number, huh?"

She pulled out her phone too, not because she needed to look at it as some people did but because she thought maybe he might offer her his number as well.

Tristan took his nifty little Blackberry out of his pocket and nodded. "If you want me to call you, I probably should have it."

He tapped in the information she gave him, hit save and then send so he was calling her. Not with the intent of talking to her, but so she could have his contact information as well. When her phone went off in her hand he grinned. "That's mine."

Rhiannon smiled at him, then saved him as a new contact in her phone.

"Good. Awesome. Great. Now there's no excuses."

He nodded as he wrinkled his nose at the number his phone assigned her for his phonebook. He should clean some of these out so he didn't have more than 150 contacts.

"And your laundry's folded." He said with a tip of his head towards the stack of Harvey's clothes.

"Oh," she said, turning to look at the piles of neat little man pants and t-shirts and underoos. "Guess it is," she said as she picked up the laundry basket.

"You ready to go back to the apartment, Harvey?"

"No!" he said then slammed another Army guy to the ground.

"I bet Lestat misses you sooooo much."

That made Harvey smile. "Probably."

"C'mon. Let's go see him before he claws up my new drapes or something." She smiled at Tristan.

Tristan's brow arched. Lestat sounded like something he'd heard before, but he didn't know where from.

He smiled when Harvey did, thinking he might go on up to the Mocha and grab coffee while his clothes still spun around in the dryer.

"I'll see you again sometime soon, Harvey." Looking up he smiled at Rhiannon. "Let me know about dinner, okay?"

Rhiannon smirked and shook her head just a little. "Nope, I told you. We eat dinner every night."
She stepped in a little. "You let me know."

Harvey gathered his Army guys and stuffed them in his pockets then made his way over to Tristan and Rhiannon.

"See you, Tristan," he said, waving one pudgy hand. "I gotta go cuddly Aunt Rhi's grumpy old cat."

Rhi smiled and bent to Harvey. "Do you have all your guys?"

"Yep," he replied and patted his pockets.

"Alright," she said, then straightened. "Bye, Tristan. Call me when you get hungry at supper time. Or," she paused and glanced over her shoulder. "Whenever you want."

He smirked because he wanted to touch her. Wanted to poke that spot on her chest that wasn't quite chest and wasn't quite shoulder at the same time. Just below the collar bone where it didn't have to have any deeper meaning than a poke. "Well then, I will let you know."

Ahh... Lestat was a grumpy old cat that apparently enjoyed being cuddled by Harvey. If he was wise beyond his years, the cat probably knew not to mess with the boy. Boys were harder to replace, and that was a solidly hard fact. Tristan nodded and waved. "And if he hollers let'em go..." He said with a soft chuckle.

He nodded as she turned back from the door. "Will do." He'd call her sometime. Within the next week after he'd gone out with Anastasia and calmed down afterward. He still disliked knowing she wouldn't come back to him, and after spending a day listening to where she was now or who she was with he'd need time to get back in order. He didn't like it, that's just the way it was right now.

As he thought he smiled, waved and watched Rhiannon leave. When he looked back down at his phone still in hand he'd pulled up Anastasia's number and started a text about how he missed her. Sighing he exited out without sending or saving and sat the phone on a closed washing machine lid. He was a mess and he needed to straighten shit out before anything else got messy.
