Apt 8160, early evening, Ang and Alec (closed)
Having been to the game at Andover, and after the team had won the game, Ang knew Alec should be in a good mood. Dinner was cooking, and she settled down on the couch in the lounge, flicking through the TV channels idly as she sipped at a cup of tea. She flicked through a number of channels, finding films she didn't want to watch, news she didn't want to hear, and finally children's channels of cartoons and nonsense. Heading past them to the sports channels she paused, and turned the tv off. Maybe now would be a good time to bring up that nagging thought she'd had about how exactly one thought about having children?
"Alec? I've been wondering," she began slowly, "I mean, how exactly do you think about having children? Is it a case of watching them? Talking to other people who have them? Or just, well I don't really know."
She looked down, suddenly rather nervous that she might upset him, which was of course the last thing she wanted to do, and her fingers automatically touched the collar round her neck as if it offered comfort and reassurance.
