Deacon's [secret birthday] bash - OTA
Charlie dearly loved parties but todays seemed likely to be one of the most strenuous. The sun shone brightly, the lake water seemed fairly clear, reflecting the blue of the sky and the equipment was in good condition.

Kayaks were stacked to one side for the traditonalists, there were brightly coloured jetskis like little bugs. A deck had a couple of larger craft moored alongside for waterskiing and there were pedalos and rowing boats and - the thing he had been keeping an eye on since he had arrived - several enormous plasic 'hamster balls' floating on the surface of the water.

"I'm just got to have a go in one of those," he thought as he waited for the guests, and secret guest of honour, to arrive.

Deacon had opted out of the wet suit and had slipped into his black board shorts instead. He came out of the dressing rooms in time to watch the giant blow up earth bounce into the water and laughed. This was going to be an interesting day.

"Hey, Charlie," he called, heading for the jet ski after having gotten the key and the 'list or rules' from the instructor. "Wanna go for a ride?"

	Charlie pointed to his chest as though in disbelief then jogged along the deck to join him. "Of course I would," he said, kicking off his sandals and pulling his tee-shirt off over his head. "Do I get to hold on very tight to you?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charlie held his nose before he jumped, bobbed across to Deacon and clambered up behind him. He did hold tight, slipping both arms around Deacon's waist and putting his chin on his shoulder. "Ready when you are birthday boy," he said. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Deacon grinned and turned on the jet ski, revving the engine. Carefully he pulled away from the dock and once they were out of the way of other boats and people he opened up the throttle and the little machine shot forward, skipping across the water. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That first skip Deacon almost lost Charlie, who hadn't been paying proper attention, over the back of the machine. He lurched back then grabbed hold of Deacon's hips and hauled himself upright again, settling against Deacon's back with a gasp. On the third skip, however he had to stifle a whoop. SUCH fun - and sharing it with Deacon made it even better. (Reply to this) (Parent)
